KyotoScapes

"KyotoScapes" aims to explore the acoustic environment in Kyoto. We are surrounded by various sounds in our daily lives, but most of them are out of our consciousness. Thus I focused on "sounds" rather than "picture" in the process of making this film.This means to reverse the conventional way in film making and focus the relations between sounds and picture. In this short film field recording was conducted with real-head binaural microphone and hydrophone.
