Gong Culture in the Central Highlands of Vietnam

Each ethnic minority living in the Central Highlands of Vietnam has their own “Gong Culture”. Since old times, many family stock gong sets and play gongs at various rituals and ceremonies. But their gong culture is now declining due to the modernization and aging of gong players etc…

This movie tries to illustrate the traditional gong culture by focusing on the splendid harmony of the gong playing at Grave abandonment ceremony 
of the Jarai and the sophisticated skill of the Gong tuner.
