I spent a total of five weeks in winter and spring 2021 and 2022 at memu earth lab, based in Memu (Taiki Town) in the southern part of Tokachi, eastern Hokkaido, and released Voices of Memu (MSCTY_EDN) in June 2024, a work that recorded the sounds of various places in the area. The work was released in June 2024. Here, I would like to update the activities related to this work.
